PRE HISTORIC ART HISTORY DRAWINGS -
Reflection:
In the Prehistoric Art Project we learned a lot about how art originated and how people adopted it. Some of the first art we know of is a carving of a face into a rock. From there on art gets more and more diverse and more people learn about it. We learned about different eras and how art was at that time. For this project we were asked to make a drawing of a prehistoric animal. We then put this on a scanner and uploaded it so we could work on it in Adobe Illustrator. Stepping back now I will talk about my drawing. I did an animal (that's not real) for this project, I based it on a printed out picture. Some things I used to revise was peer critique and going back through and taking out little blemishes. Once we put it into Illustrator we did what's called a live trace. This changes the threshold and how dark or light your image can come out. I personally like the comic art live trace because it shows your work in the best quality it can be. If I ever make something I need to upload in the future I would definitely use this if I had access to it. It makes your work look much better than before. I liked using Illustrator for this project I wish we would have been able to design more in it and not just editing our photo.
